I’m excited to get this phone, I’ve just applied for a postpaid account in our local TELCO Globe which comes with a Nokia 6120 Classic unit. What I like about the Nokia 6120 Classic is it’s already HSDPA. Globe has a 3G service where you can watch local tv shows and because Nokia 6120 Classic is already HSPDA, I’m expecting to watch shows without hang-ups. The Nokia 6120 Classic has also a 2mp camera with flash. It’s a prerequisite for me when buying a camera phone. Picture quality is acceptable but do not expect K750i quality here. Also, there’s no autofocus function.

The Nokia 6120 Classic also has some good points when it comes to music playing. It can handle a lot of music formats like MP3, M4A, eAAC+, and WMA - and there’s a built-in FM radio too. You can enjoy listening with the bundled Stereo Headset HS-47. But don’t expect a walkman sound quality. But there’s a good news! The Nokia 6120 Classic has a 2.5mm jack for you to use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm jack adapter. So you can use your standard ear cans.

What I also like about the Nokia 6120 Classic is the S60 operating system. Using it is so easy and almost fool proof. When it comes to design the unit is a bit conservative, well thats why they call it classic. All in all the Nokia 6120 Classic is a great phone, easy to use, small, lightweight, fast because it’s HSDPA and packed with multimedia capabilities. Now all I’m waiting for is when it will arrive at my doorstep. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.
