New 6110 Navigator - now a GPS phone
Ah yes, we remember the 6110. Distill its essence, and you’ve got the philosophy behind the all-new 6110 Navigator - now a GPS-enable phone.
The new 6110 looks nothing like the original. It’s a 3G (and HSDPA) slider with a dedicated button smack dap iin the middle to activate the GPS function. So weather you’re in your car or on foot, you can fire it up, see your location in a map, and get real time, turn by turn directions, as well as information like traffic and weather conditions. You’ll never get lost again.
The flying Finns of Nokia tell us that the 6110 Navigator will sell with a disc that contains maps of common destinations. When you purchase a map of, say, New York or London, you will be given a key to unlock the map and download it to your phone. More maps will be available by Internet download, and they’ll be updated regularly.
